Astigmatism & Our Lenses:
While our lenses are not Toric (not specifically designed for astigmatism correction), many customers with mild astigmatism (cylinder under -2.00) find they can still wear our lenses comfortably, especially for short-term or cosmetic use.
Mild astigmatism (cylinder < -2.00):
If your cylinder value is less than -2.00, you may be able to wear standard spherical lenses by converting your prescription to a spherical equivalent.
High astigmatism (≥ -2.00):
We recommend you consult your doctor before purchasing. In such cases, Toric lenses are usually the safer and more effective choice.
Prescription Conversion:
Prescription conversion involves calculating the spherical equivalent, which simplifies your prescription when the astigmatism is low. But this should only be done under professional guidance.
While our lenses may not be the right fit for everyone with astigmatism, they can be a great option for some. We always recommend discussing your prescription and eye health with a licensed professional before purchasing.
